3. What is Joes & Cos
Joes & Cos is an app platform that lets you discover workspaces and meeting rooms, list and book private meeting rooms, purchase work passes, and check in to workspaces.
For the user, the platform acts as a gateway to a wide variety of workspaces and meeting rooms that can be used in a professional setting. For the vendor and/or host (companies, private individuals, hotels, restaurants, cafés, and others with suitable facilities), the platform acts as an online sales and marketing channel.
On the platform, a user can look through different types of workspaces and purchase work passes using credits or in a pay-as-you-go format. Joes & Cos gives the user access to these workspaces and makes it possible to check in easily through the app. Additionally, the platform provides a connection between a booker looking for a meeting space and a host who has an available space. Joes & Cos brings the booker and host together, making it possible to book online, easily, and safely.
Joes & Cos establishes a connection between workspaces and users as well as hosts and bookers. We expect both parties to remain loyal in order to deliver a high-quality service and offering. Bookings and check-ins which are a direct result of a search performed on the platform must be completed via the platform. We reserve the right to exclude bookers and hosts who do not comply with this.
Upon completing a check-in or meeting room reservation, we invite all users to review their experience. This includes reviewing the workspace or meeting room. This is the best way to ensure the quality of the platform.
It’s free to register as a user. When registering, you’ll be asked to enter an email address, first name, last name and password. By registering, users automatically accept the terms and conditions.
Anyone who wants to unregister themselves as a user are allowed to simply delete their account in the “My Account” section of the app. This will permanently delete all information associated with the account.
5. Check ins and Bookings
On the platform, you can check in to the space you want for the day (contingent on availability) using credits or buying a day pass.
Check ins are limited to the same day and end when the space closes.
The price for the space includes all of the amenities described on the space’s information page on the platform. Most spaces offer free coffee and tea, others offer additional options that can be purchased separately through the venue such as food and beverages.
Your day pass only applies to the area assigned. Access to other premises is only available if included in the description on the space’s information page.
On the platform, you can check in to a workspace for the day (contingent on availability) using credits or buying a work pass.
Check ins are limited to the same day and end when the workspace closes.
The price for the workspace includes all of the amenities described on the space’s information page on the platform. Some workspaces offer free coffee and tea while others offer additional options that can be purchased separately such as food and beverages. Certain workspaces offer discounted rates for food and beverage defined by the vendor clearly shown on the workspace description page. The discount is defined by the vendor and shown in the app under each workspace. A user must be checked in to receive access to the amenities and/or discounts the workspace offers.
Your work pass only applies to the area assigned. Access to other areas is only available if included in the description on the workspace’s information page.
5.2 Meeting Rooms
You can book a meeting space on the Joes & Cos platform for the number of hours you need (contingent on availability).
Bookings are limited to the exact timeframe in which they are booked. You are not entitled to stay longer than the time booking unless you have agreed upon this with the Host.
The price for the meeting room includes all of the amenities described on the space’s profile on the platform. Some Hosts offer free coffee and tea, others offer add-ons that can be purchased when booking the space. Special conditions for bringing your own meal, cleaning etc., must be stated on the profile.
Your booking only applies to the room booked. Access to other areas is only available if included in the description on the meeting room’s profile.
If the booker (and guests) must be allowed to move around in other parts of the business, it must be agreed upon with the host. Joes & Cos is not responsible for cleanup or preparation of the premises, neither before nor after the booking.
Booking a meeting room at another company is not the same as working with the company, and neither the booker nor host is allowed to refer to a booking as a collaboration.
When using a meeting space, usage should correspond to the different scenarios for which the space is intended. If Joes & Cos finds that the booked space is being used for other purposes or that users do not comply with the terms provided by the host, we reserve the right to exclude them as a user.
5.3 Payments and Cancellations
A user must purchase either a work pass or credits before making a check-in. Each location has a work pass price or credit value to get access. We collect payment when either a work pass or credits package has been purchased. As a user, you will receive an invoice through email after the purchase has been made.
5.3.2 Meeting Rooms
Joes & Cos charges the booker the full amount for both the space and the add-ons. We collect payment when the booking has been approved by the host. As a booker, you can always get an overview of your completed bookings and invoices via the Joes & Cos app.
